Stored in a database, concepts can be quickly generated from previous project data, or built from scratch using the 300+ components and materials supplied as standard.
Continuing into the Design phase, Flowmaster V7's central database allows multiple team members to work on the designs, within a secure environment. The range of analysis options and flexibility to customise components in Flowmaster V7 allows quick refinement of the system's performance. As the systems design evolves, the component data is stored with each result set providing an audit trail of design changes.
With principle designs agreed, Flowmaster V7 adds value by enabling users to further Optimise their system by carrying out parametric studies to identifying the changes that will have the greatest impact on performance. These can be carried out from within Flowmaster V7 or by linking to third party applications through the open API's. Co-simulation with optimisation and 3D CFD tools allows the design of individual components to be optimised based on their impact on the entire system.
Expensive physical testing can be kept to a minimum once users Validate their Flowmaster Digital Prototype against test data. Required test cases can be run without the costly failures and delays associated with physical testing.
