ANSYS TurboGrid

ANSYS TurboGrid provides designers of turbomachinery with a mesh creation tool to increase productivity and optimize design. By creating high quality hexahedral mesh using an automatically created customized mesh topology for the blade geometry being studied, it facilitates accurate and fast CFD analysis. It also includes full scripting for batch mode operation.

ANSYS TurboGrid is an integral part of the ANSYS system of software tools for rotating machinery which includes ANSYS BladeModeler for blade design, ANSYS CFX for CFD simulation as well as ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS Fluid Structure Interaction solutions.

ANSYS TurboGrid:

  1. Delivers an easy-to-use interface for rapid generation of high quality meshes for turbomachines
  2. Utilizes familiar geometry formats exported from blade design software
  3. Interfaces to ANSYS CFX solver

ANSYS TurboGrid is the next generation of CFX-TurboGrid. It provides almost automatic grid generation for turbomachinery by creating custom topology, decreasing the time normally required to create a quality mesh. And, ANSYS TurboGrid runs stand-alone or integrated into the ANSYS Workbench environment. ANSYS Workbench provide unified data sharing and project file management across the range of ANSYS products.
